Description
Just like etiquette is about making others feel appreciated, faith is about helping others feel loved and if people feel loved, they will feel something of the power of God in their lives. I John says, “Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God…. since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.” I think this is what Jesus wanted. These are the Christian table manners: Make others feel loved, accepted, and appreciated. The Pharisees were failing. They knew the right words, but they were not putting them into action.
