A Samaritan woman, judged for her series of failed relationships, meets Jesus at a well
Unlike the people who hurl insults as she walks by, and unlike the church people who turn up their noses at her in the grocery store, Jesus isn’t horrified by her sin; and to have someone not horrified by our sin is by itself, an act of love.
Now, we begin to understand the living water Jesus is offering to this woman. It’s acceptance.
