Love vs Faith
Description

The title of the sermon today, Love Verses Faith from the German Reformer, Martin Luther. Luther said, “Love does not curse or take vengeance, but faith does.”

What he means is this.

The unconditional love of God is the foundation of Christian beliefs. God’s love doesn’t curse. God’s love doesn’t seek vengeance. God’s love is all inclusive.

But that isn’t the same with faith. Faith is exclusive. Faith has limits. Faith draws lines. Faith says some things are good. Faith says some things are bad, and some things are really bad.
