Big Spring Presbyterian Church

This story in Mark of the bleeding woman teaches us to let Jesus take us, lead us, and edge us forward rather than staying with our familiar assumptions. That’s why we are here, isn’t it? To believe like the woman believed?  If we trust him, he can give us what we need even if we don’t know what that is. And, if we follow him, chances are, he will turn to us, like he did to the bleeding woman, and say, “Sister, be well.” or “Brother, go in peace.” We might just discover the white-hot presence of God.
