Rev. Lucy Scofield Bowerman joins as our Transition Pastor this January.  She was ordained in 1995 and has had a long career in ministry. Her spouse, Rev. David Bowerman is also Presbyterian clergy, having served 28 years as an Army Chaplain. In 2021 the Bowermans moved to Carlisle to make a permanent home. Lucy most recently served as the Bridge Presbytery Leader for the Presbytery of Carlisle.  She also has served churches in DC, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, Alaska, Virginia, Georgia and Hawaii.

Lucy holds a degree in Music, a Masters in Counseling, as well as her M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary.
